People on the Move highlights the career advancements of high-level trailblazers working professionally in diverse areas of standardization, contributing every day to the strength and success of the U.S. standards and conformance community.

The National Elevator Industry, Inc. (NEII), a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has announced that Amy Blankenbiller is their new executive director.

Ms. Blankenbiller assumed the role after serving as NEII’s vice president of government affairs since 2009. She has over 30 years of experience in leadership, advocacy, strategic planning, and management. Prior to joining NEII, Ms. Blankenbiller was the president and founder of AjB Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm that worked with associations, organizations, and private businesses to implement government strategies. She was also the Kansas Chamber of Commerce president and CEO.

Previously, Ms. Blankenbiller spent almost two decades in Washington, DC, working on federal and state policy efforts and association management issues. Ms. Blankenbiller received an appointment from President George H.W. Bush and served in his administration, and also worked on Capitol Hill for a U.S. Representative and a U.S. Senator.

In this role, he will oversee the development lifecycle from ideation to deployment, including the integration of expertise in management advisory services, logistics, and digital and analytic solutions with the chief technology office to design and enable scalable, repeatable customer solutions. Mr. Wilson will also lead digital and analytic solutions, which he has led since the service line’s formation in June 2020, guiding the concept development and customer delivery of capabilities for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. Previously, Mr. Wilson was LMI’s vice president of advanced analytics. He is a former U.S. Army officer who served two overseas tours focused on infrastructure reconstruction efforts in Iraq.

“Pete and Josh have been instrumental to LMI’s growth and success in recent years, helping us expand and strengthen our customer delivery.
